Your eye health is vital!
You’ve heard the expression “bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.” Well, it’s true: Good health is reflected in the eyes as much as anything else. And yet, because we often take our vision for granted, we can unknowingly damage our eyes.
Headaches, blurred vision, dust in the eyes: Small details like these should send a warning signal. Remember: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so regular visits to the optometrist are essential.
- For babies and toddlers (from birth to 24 months): Around six months of age
- For preschoolers (2 to 5 years old): At 3 years old and before starting elementary school
- For school-age children (6 to 19 years old): Once a year
- For adults (20 to 64 years old) : Once every one or two years
- For older adults (65 years old and over): Once a year
